This is an Irish lord, and yes, this fish really looks like this. The female of the species isn't nearly as pretty. Irish lords live in the waters around Unalaska Island and probably all of the Alaskan coast where ever there are rocky areas. The fish is easy to catch and usually thrown back.

Parkee squirrels were brought to the Fox Islands by the Russians. They were meant to be a food source for the foxes which the Russians also imported. Parkees are found all over Unalaska Island and they are common even in downtown Dutch Harbor, Alaska.

There are over 600 bald eagles living on the island of Unalaska. They can be seen all over Dutch Harbor and Unalaska. The small brown patch between the eyes of this eagle means that it is only 4 years old or just starting it's 5th year. The head becomes completely white in the 5th year, indicating full maturity.
